Finding a place for young migrants and refugees to call their own

This place will:

• Offer creative based programmes such as music, photography, cooking & BBQ 
• Recreational activities that include board games, a pool table and a PS4
• Create a friendly and culturally driven space where they can rediscover their roots and explore their future 
• Develop a sense of investment in their community through community-based activities and initiatives resulting in a strong sense of ownership
• Improve the self-esteem and negative self-image that young adults from migrant and refugee backgrounds have of themselves which contributes to the stigma surrounding them
• Help change public opinion of migrant & refugee young adults by engaging in community outreach programs such as TV, radio and sport events
